BEFORE YOU SET OUT

A few local details worth planning around.

Choose a neighborhood, not an all-Manhattan itinerary

Midtown, Central Park and Grand Central each offer a separate hunt. Pick the setting that matches your day and share the selected starting point with everyone before traveling.

Treat Grand Central as a working terminal

Leave room for commuters and check the terminal’s visitor information before you go. Shops, dining and other individual spaces may keep different hours from the terminal itself.

Plan park breaks before starting

For Central Park, check the Conservancy’s visitor map and restroom information when choosing your arrival point. Bring what you need for an outdoor outing and keep extra time for a stop before the game.
